Gasburg Baptist Church is pleased to offer the GriefShare ministry to our community.
Everyone at some point in their life will experience the death of a family member, friend or co-worker.  Dealing with the emotions and grief that comes with death can be difficult.  Everyone deals with grief differently and over various periods of time.  Our church wants to ensure our community that we are here to help support you at this tough time and encourages you to attend one of our sessions.

GriefShare is a 13-week video-based program that is designed to help you successfully travel the journey from mourning to joy.  You are welcome to begin attending the GriefShare group at any session.  Each one is ‘self-contained’ so you do not have to attend in sequence.  You will find encouragement and help whenever you begin.  You will be able to continue with GriefShare through the next cycle and view any of the videos you have not seen.  Gasburg Baptist Church plans to offer this program on a continual basis at least 3 times per year.  We will also provide you a GriefShare workbook to help you make notes on what you observe and learn from the videos.  The workbooks also provide session outlines and aids to give you a valuable resource to use while at home in your private time.

GriefShare is a nondenominational program and features biblical teaching on grief and recovery topics.  You can obtain more information on GriefShare by going to www.griefshare.org .

This program is very powerful, encouraging, and supportive.  If you know of someone who could benefit from our GriefShare support group, please don’t delay in registering or contacting us with your questions.
